Big Red Cat Back on Track

BIG RED CAT ran a corker race at Canberra on Friday and pleased both trainer Colbey Hill and rider Neil Perryman. Surprisingly in a race that looked like being run at a very fast pace - the exact opposite applied as within 100 metres of the start Simon Miller was able to put the brakes on aboard the leader Riverina Lad and they were very pedestrian until they reached the corner.

The lack of pace enabled the first three horses in the run to finish in the first three placings and and our horse is just not suited in sit and sprint races. I do not know where Colbey is headed next with him but I think a 1400-1600 in town will suit him ideally.

CENTABEEL SOLD

Platinum Racing has divested itself of its 90% share in Centabeel and the horse is now owned by Bill Ponsonby - who with his daughter raced 10% of the horse with us in the first instance.

Bill has given the horse to Robert Turton, who trains at Wyong. I would like to wish Bill all the luck in the world with the horse and I believe that Bob is running him on the 5th July - which i think is at Cessnock.
