Surprise Heavy Tracks Make for A Tricky Day
Heavy storms hit both Canterbury and Doomben overnight and this morning so both venues have ended up with heavy tracks today which could make for some surprise results.
At Canterbury I think CIRCLE OF POWER is a good thing to knock off the favourite Wazn in race six. Forget he went around in the Festival behind Monton, his previous run at Rosehill was a cracker - and he has a great wet track and Canterbury record. I think he sits outside the leader today and just wins.
At Doomben the fare looks very tricky so I am tipping two specials each way at big odds. The first of these comes up in race five where I like OBJECT OF VIRTUE. This son of Don Eduardo is very consistent on Northern Rivers tracks and he is very adept in the conditions.
In the last I think KISS ME DEADLY can win. She is coming back in distance, but she is a real mudlark and could be very good value.
At Sandown I think BOCUSE is a good thing to beat the favourite Scarf in race four. Scarf has turned in two sub-par performances this time in and he was awful at Rosehill last time out.
